Verner Panton – Official
This low, organically curved armchair was originally designed by Panton in two variants for the Visiona 2 exhibition. A plastic shell with integrated foam upholstery gave the armchair its rigid structure. In 1970 the small version was produced by the firm of Hukla in a slightly changed form (without plastic shell). Since 2006 and 2008 both shapes and sizes of the Amoeba have been produced once more by Vitra Home.
